Research data management
Using this guide, you will learn the steps to:
- create a functional data management plan
- classify your materials: setting up file and folder systems to better store and organise your research data
- responsible research: explore useful processes and tools to ensure reproducible, ethical research
- store and retain: find out best practice to store, retain, archive or effectively destroy your data
Once completed, the key outcomes will be:
- the creation of a usable and practical data management plan
- you will understand your responsibilities as a data researcher
- you will have a working knowledge of data management and planning effects research
- you will know to best store and retrieve your data safely
- you will know whom to contact if issues arise
